Frequently asked questions

  • Yes.Most Ecosoft cartridges (especially the 1-2-3 sets) are made in the universal 10-inch standard. You can use them with filters from other manufacturers to improve filtration quality. The exception are "Box" systems (closed housings), which require dedicated Twist cartridges.


  • ContributionPURE BalanceThis unique technology, inspired by natural processes, not only adds minerals but also maintains a stable pH. Water treated with this cartridge has a richer composition (more calcium and magnesium) and a noticeably better, sweeter taste than water treated with a standard mineralizer.


  • The pre-filters are the same. However, if you want to achieve the PURE Balance effect in the Standard model, you'll need to replace the top mineralizer with the PURE model. This may require minor modifications to the connections (tubing) or mounting clips, as these cartridges may have slightly different designs.


  • Ecosoft offers standard and enhanced introductory kits. The enhanced kit includes a second foam filter instead oftwo carbon inserts(or Ecomix cartridge). This is recommended if your tap water is very heavily chlorinated or contains a lot of organic contaminants.


  • Of course. Every Ecosoft kit comes with instructions. Simply turn off the water supply, unscrew the shades with the wrench (which came with the filter), replace the cartridges, rinse the shades, and screw them back on. Remember to flush the system after replacement (drain 1-2 tanks of water).
