  • Yes. Unlike office dispensers with a drip tray, drinking fountains require a permanent connection to a drain (sewer). Any unused water that flows into the bowl must be safely drained.


  • The devices themselves (housings) usually do not come with filters as standard, but are designed to accommodate them. We recommend installingin-line filter (carbon)inside the water fountain housing or at the water inlet. This will improve the taste of tap water by removing chlorine, encouraging children and staff to drink.


  • Yes. The spouts in the water fountains are protected by special guards that prevent direct contact with the mouth (a so-called guard). Touchless models (with a photocell) offer the highest level of hygiene because the user doesn't touch the device with their hands at all.

  • NO.They deliver water at mains temperature. They are cheaper, quiet, and require no electricity.


  • Only models specifically designed for this purpose (so-called outdoor models) are available. They must be made of stainless steel and, most importantly, protected from frost (with winter drainage systems) or removed during the winter. Standard waterers are intended for indoor use.
