Ecosoft 2.5″ × 10″ coconut carbon filter

The original Ecosoft CHVCB2510ECO cartridge is a block carbon filter made of compressed activated carbon from coconut shells. It is designed for standard 2.5″ × 10″ filter housings and is used to improve the quality and organoleptic properties of water.

Key features of the cartridge:

• Activated carbon from coconut shells: the filter material has a large sorption surface and helps reduce chlorine and chlorination by-products.
• Improved taste, odor, and color: the filter helps reduce substances affecting the organoleptic properties of water.
• Mechanical filtration: the block structure of the cartridge also retains undissolved solid particles larger than 10 µm, such as sand, silt, or rust.
• Even structure: the uniform structure of the carbon block ensures water contact with the entire filter material.
• Universal size: the standard 2.5″ × 10″ allows the cartridge to be used in compatible housings of various filtration systems.
• Compatibility with Ecosoft RObust 4000: the cartridge is also used as a replacement cartridge in this system.

The cartridge is designed for filtering cold water. Its actual lifespan depends on the quality of the water supplied to the filter and the amount of contaminants retained.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3–6 months or after filtering up to 15,000 liters of water.
