The Philips Nira AWP9811/10 is a modern, high-performance water softener from the 3000 series, designed as an ideal solution for households with 3 to 5 people. The device is equipped with 12.5 liters of ion-exchange resin, allowing for the seamless achievement of a nominal operating flow rate of 1.0 m³/h (up to a maximum of 1.5 m³/h). Thanks to its very compact dimensions (675 mm high, 355 mm wide, and 505 mm deep), this system perfectly fits into limited spaces, protecting your plumbing and household appliances from damaging limescale buildup.
The Philips softener uses an innovative Dual-Flow distributor, whose two-channel design improves softening efficiency by up to 10% compared to conventional systems. A distinguishing feature of the AWP9811 model is its dry brine tank technology – water enters it just before regeneration, completely preventing crystallization and valve clogging by "salt bridges." The device guarantees economical operation based on time-flow countercurrent regeneration; resin renewal takes only 54 minutes and requires approximately 1.2 kg of salt and 77-90 liters of water. User convenience is provided by a large, 2.5-inch touch LCD screen with a clear salt level indicator, a vacation mode function, and a built-in bypass valve.
