This model combines the powerful capabilities of the classic S550 model (softening, iron and manganese removal) with the unique properties of the active KDF85 media. The device not only ruthlessly eliminates water hardness and "rusty water" (removing iron and manganese up to 10 mg/l), but also provides a powerful protective shield against dangerous chemical and microbiological contaminants.

The key innovation in the P1 version is the addition of copper-zinc KDF85 media (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion). It has strong bacteriostatic properties, meaning it effectively inhibits the growth of bacterial flora inside the tank, extending the lifespan of the main ion-exchange resin. Furthermore, KDF85 excellent removes hydrogen sulfide (responsible for the unpleasant "rotten egg" smell), reduces chlorine content, and also captures dangerous heavy metals (such as lead or mercury) from the water.
