The Aquaphor S550 is a modern, fully automatic water treatment plant designed to remove excess iron (up to 10 mg/l), manganese (up to 3 mg/l), ammonia, and organic and odorous substances (e.g., hydrogen sulfide) from well or tap water. The device operates without the use of salt—instead of traditional chemical regeneration, it uses an innovative catalytic bed, making it environmentally friendly, less expensive to operate, and maintenance-free.

The S550 analyzes water quality and activates the self-cleaning process only when needed, thanks to its advanced electronic controller. Aquaphor S550 iscompact 3-in-1 system, which effectively removes:

  • Hardness salts(up to 28 mEq/L), preventing scale formation in water systems.
  • Iron(up to 12 mg/L) andmanganese, eliminating the metallic taste of water and preventing discoloration of fittings.
  • Hydrogen sulphide(up to 1 mg/L), which is responsible for the unpleasant smell of water. (ONLY IN THE VERSION WITH KDF85)

The system usescalibrated, fine ion exchange resin, whose surface in contact with water isfour times greaterthan in standard systems. This means it does not accumulate iron and is not worn out by friction.

Intelligent regeneration

Aquaphor S800 usespatented flow divider, which ensures uniform water flow through the entire bed layer, eliminating stagnant zones and increasing filtration efficiency. The system hasintelligent controller, which optimizes the regeneration process by using up to30% less salt and water.
