The original Klarwod PP mechanical pre-filter is the absolute foundation for the proper functioning of your Klarwod RO FLIP reverse osmosis system. Made from the highest quality dense polypropylene foam, it plays a key role as the first stage of advanced water filtration. Its primary task is to reliably retain all solid impurities such as sand, rust, silt, sludge, and other fine suspended solids present in the water supply system.

The PP mechanical filter not only significantly improves water clarity but, above all, acts as a protective shield for the entire system. It protects subsequent filtration stages – including sensitive carbon filters and the expensive osmotic membrane – from clogging and premature wear. Thanks to its perfect fit for the modern Klarwod RO FLIP model, its self-assembly is intuitive and quick.

To ensure maximum filtering efficiency and device safety, regular maintenance is necessary. Depending on the quality of tap water in your region, we recommend replacing the PP mechanical filter every 6-12 months on average.
