Big Blue 20" Filter Housing with Vent Valve

The Big Blue 20" filter housing is a robust casing designed for filter cartridges in the BB20 standard. Thanks to its large capacity and 1" connections, it is perfectly suited as a pre-filter at the inlet of the water system in a single-family home, multi-family building, service facility, or industrial facility. The built-in vent valve facilitates starting the filter after cartridge replacement and improves its operation.

The housing works with all standard Big Blue 20" cartridges, including foam, string, and carbon cartridges. It allows adapting the type of filtration to water quality and individual user needs. The large filtration surface ensures high water flow and extends the life of the cartridges compared to smaller casings.

The housing can function as a single filter or be part of an extended water treatment system. Sets composed of two or three housings are often used, enabling the combination of mechanical filtration with activated carbon filtration or increasing the efficiency of the installation through parallel mounting. The maximum flow capacity is up to 200 l/min, depending on the cartridge used and the supply pressure.
