Osmotic membrane | Bluewater

An osmotic membrane is the most important consumable component in Bluewater Cleone systems (both Classic and Balance versions). It is responsible for the molecular filtration process, removing up to 99% of all dissolved contaminants from water.

Thanks to microscopic pores measuring 0.0001 microns, the membrane forms an impenetrable barrier for heavy metals (lead, mercury), bacteria, viruses, cysts, microplastics, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. It only allows pure H₂O molecules to pass through.

The original Bluewater membrane has been designed to work perfectly with the unique "smart flush" system and the pressure pump of the Cleone device. This guarantees not only the highest water quality but also a long lifespan of the component (replacement typically every 3–5 years, depending on water quality and usage) and stable filtration efficiency.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3–5 years.
