Aquaphor K5 – 5 µm polypropylene pre-filter cartridge for Aquaphor Crystal A, Crystal HA and RO-101S filters

The original Aquaphor K5 cartridge is a mechanical pre-filter made from 100% polypropylene. It serves as the first stage in under-sink Aquaphor Crystal A (K5 – K2 – K7) and Crystal HA (K5 – KH – K7) filters, as well as in the RO-101S (Morion) reverse osmosis system.

The cartridge traps particles as small as 5 microns: sand, silt, rust and other insoluble contaminants. This protects subsequent, more expensive filtration stages – carbon, softening cartridges and the osmotic membrane – from premature clogging and extends their service life. It is particularly useful in older plumbing systems and with water containing visible sediment.

The capacity of the set with K5 is approximately 6000 l (Crystal A) or 4000 l (Crystal HA) and depends on the level of water contamination. The cartridge can be replaced in a few seconds without tools.

Operating conditions: cold mains water, temperature 5–38°C, pressure up to 6.3 bar.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3–6 months.
