The specialized composition of the filter bed ensures that the water maintains the appropriate mineral balance, which translates into a stable, thick foam (crema) for espresso and a deep, full flavor ("body").

In addition to standard protection against limescale, the Finest insert effectively prevents gypsum (calcium sulphate) build-up, a common problem in some water intakes, leading to pump and boiler failure.

✅Water softening (total hardness reduction)
Unlike the Quell ST series (which decarbonates), the Finest series reduces total hardness using sodium ion exchange. This technology is designed specifically for espresso machines.
