Aquaphor KH – softening cartridge for Aquaphor Crystal H and Crystal HA filters

The original Aquaphor KH cartridge provides water softening in the Aquaphor Crystal H (K3 – KH – K7 set) and Crystal HA (K5 – KH – K7) under-sink filters. It is filled with high-quality ion-exchange resin that captures calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.

This means that KH reduces limescale buildup in kettles, coffee machines, and on dishes, and tea does not develop a film. The cartridge also removes chlorine and improves the taste of the water. It is ideal wherever tap water is hard and there is no need to install a reverse osmosis system.

Softening capacity depends on the hardness of the incoming water. When the water starts leaving limescale again, the resin can be restored to operation by regenerating it with a salt solution, according to the manufacturer's instructions. The capacity of the set with KH is approximately 6000 l (Crystal H) or 4000 l (Crystal HA).

Operating conditions: cold mains water, temperature 5–38°C, pressure up to 6.3 bar.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3 months.
