Aquaphor K3 – pre-carbon cartridge for Aquaphor Crystal and Crystal H under-sink filters

The original Aquaphor K3 cartridge is the first stage of purification in Aquaphor Crystal and Crystal H under-sink filters. It is made using CarbFiber technology, which combines activated carbon with Aqualen™ ion-exchange fiber. It removes particles as small as 5 microns, including sand, rust, suspended solids, and other mechanical impurities.

K3 is more than just a sediment filter. The cartridge removes active chlorine, organic compounds, and heavy metals, while the Aqualen fiber improves the removal of colloidal and dissolved iron. It also contains silver, which inhibits bacterial growth. This protects the subsequent filter stages (K2 or KH and K7) from clogging prematurely and extends their service life.

In the Crystal K3 filter, it is used in the K3 – K2 – K7 set (capacity approx. 8000 l), while in the Crystal H filter, it is used in the K3 – KH – K7 set (capacity approx. 6000 l). The actual capacity depends on the water hardness and level of contamination. The cartridge can be replaced in a few seconds without tools.

Operating conditions: cold tap water, temperature 5–38°C, pressure up to 6.3 bar.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3–6 months.
