Aquaphor K2 – deep adsorption filtration cartridge for Aquaphor Crystal filters and RO systems

The original Aquaphor K2 cartridge provides deep purification in Aquaphor Crystal and Crystal A under-sink filters, as well as pre-filtration in Aquaphor reverse osmosis systems, including the RO-202S. It is made using CarbFiber technology: an activated carbon block combined with Aqualen™ ion-exchange fiber, with a denser fill than the K3.

This allows the cartridge to retain particles as small as 3 microns, remove active chlorine and organic compounds, and permanently bind heavy metals with the Aqualen fiber. The cartridge contains silver, which inhibits bacterial growth inside the filter. Water filtered through the K2 has no chlorine aftertaste or odor, and coffee and tea taste noticeably better.

In the Crystal filter, the K2 is used in the K3 – K2 – K7 set; in the Crystal A filter, it is used in the K5 – K2 – K7 set. The set capacity is approximately 8,000 l (Crystal) or 6,000 l (Crystal A) and depends on water quality. Replacement takes a few seconds and requires no tools.

Operating conditions: cold tap water, temperature 5–38°C, pressure up to 6.3 bar.

Recommended replacement frequency: every 3–6 months.
