TMA D2 UV Germicidal Lamp – Effective Water Disinfection in Small Installations

The TMA D2 lamp is a top-quality water sterilizer from the esteemed series of devices by the Polish manufacturer TMA. Designed for small installations, it offers a nominal flow rate of 0.75 m³/h while maintaining a highly effective radiation dose (400 J/m²). It is the most compact model in the range, perfectly suited as a final water safeguard after reverse osmosis systems, under a single kitchen sink, in summer cottages, or in aquarium installations.

The device's operating principle is based on irradiating flowing water with ultraviolet (UV-C) rays at a wavelength of 254 nm. This technology destroys the DNA structure of microorganisms, eliminating 99.9% of health-threatening bacteria (including Coli, Legionella), viruses, fungi, and protozoa from the water. This sterilization method is 100% natural and safe, not requiring the use of aggressive chemicals like chlorine. As a result, the microbiological quality of the water drastically increases, while its physicochemical composition, fresh taste, and smell remain completely unaffected.

The heart of the TMA D2 sterilizer is an efficient 16 W UV lamp (with a lifespan of up to 16,000 hours, equivalent to almost 2 years of continuous operation) housed in a special pure quartz sleeve. The lamp body is made of the highest-grade acid-resistant steel (304L), guaranteeing the equipment's longevity and resistance to increased pressure. The device holds a certificate from the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), allowing its use with drinking water.
