The compact Klarwod CS Cristal 20 softener is a versatile device designed for removing water hardness in single-family homes, as well as in commercial facilities such as restaurants, car washes, and boiler rooms. The system uses 20 liters of high-efficiency, polystyrene cation exchange resin PURSANIT CER-E100 with a gel structure. It operates on the principle of ion exchange, effectively converting calcium and magnesium ions (which cause limescale) into sodium ions. This resin is completely safe for health, confirmed by the PZH certificate (No. HK/W/0116/01/2011), which allows it to come into contact with drinking water. Its high quality guarantees a long lifespan – the media only needs to be replaced after 5 to 10 years of operation.

At the heart of the system is a highly reliable, volume-time BNT 7650 control head, equipped with a clear LED display and an automatic keypad lock. The electronic controller allows full control of settings and offers the option to choose from many regeneration modes (e.g., timed, immediate volumetric, or delayed). The head has a Teflon-coated piston and a simple design with a small number of parts, which translates into its reliability. The device was designed with user convenience in mind – the built-in mixing valve allows for obtaining any desired water hardness, and the memory retention function saves settings for up to 30 days in case of a power outage.
