Cintropur NW25 Filter – Protecting Your System from Sand and Rust
The Cintropur NW25 filter is a pre-filter from a Belgian brand, primarily designed
for purifying water from private wells. It is installed at the main water connection,
just after the water meter and before equipment sensitive to contamination – such as a
water softener, iron remover, or UV lamp. This protects the entire system
and connected household appliances from damage caused by sediment and solid particles.
The filter's operation is based on centrifugal force: a centrifuge
located in the device's head evenly distributes water over the surface of the filter cartridge,
causing contaminants – sand, silt, rust, or iron particles – to fall
to the bottom of the bowl instead of getting stuck in one place.
The Cintropur NW25 filter provides a flow rate of 3.5 m³/h at an
operating pressure of up to 10 bar (maximum 16 bar) and offers a large
filtration area of 450 cm². Cartridges are available with precision
from 5 to 100 microns, allowing filtration to be adapted to
the degree of water contamination. The transparent bowl allows for continuous monitoring of the
cartridge's condition without disassembling the device.
This is a proven solution for homeowners using their own water source who are looking for effective and affordable system protection.
Large filtration area – 450 cm².Despite its small size, the filter offers an exceptionally large cartridge surface, which translates into longer operating times between cleanings or replacements.
Stable water pressure. The filter's design ensures that even with a partially soiled cartridge, the pressure in the system does not drop – water flows evenly to all outlets in the house.
Centrifugal vortex.Water flowing through the filter head is set in a swirling motion, which causes impurities to distribute evenly across the entire surface of the cartridge, rather than accumulating at specific points – this significantly extends its lifespan.
Drain screw. The built-in drain valve allows for quick emptying of water from the housing before replacing the cartridge, which greatly simplifies and speeds up device servicing.
Union connections (1" or 3/4").Flexible connection options allow the filter to be adapted to an existing installation without the need for additional reduction fittings.
Low operating cost. One package contains as many as 5 filter cartridges, and the filter itself does not generate any additional costs during use – you only pay for replacement sleeves.
Wide range of filtration precision (5–100 microns).Possibility to select a cartridge appropriate for the quality of well water – from precise filtration of fine impurities to coarse purification of heavily contaminated water.
Transparent housing.Allows visual assessment of the cartridge's contamination level at a glance, without the need to disassemble the filter or interrupt the water supply.
