Installation Components – The Foundation of a Safe Water System

Even the best and most expensive water treatment system is only as good as its weakest installation point. In this category, we have gathered professional parts, valves, and accessories that will allow you to connect water filters and softeners in a 100% safe, leak-proof, and aesthetically pleasing way. We offer only certified components from renowned manufacturers (including John Guest and DMFit), which guarantee that your system will withstand years of pressurized operation without the risk of flooding your home.

Accessories for Softeners and Water Treatment Stations

Installing large devices on the main water supply line in your home requires robust plumbing solutions. Here you will find:
✔ Bypass (Bypass Valve): Essential valve blocks that allow you to shut off the softener and keep water flowing to the house during maintenance without interrupting the water supply.
✔ Flexible Hoses (Braided): Thick, durable stainless steel hoses (most commonly 3/4" or 1") that make it easier to connect the station to the pipes, absorb water hammer, and allow you to move the device slightly while cleaning.
✔ Shut-off Valves and Pressure Gauges: For full control of pressure and flow in the boiler room.

Push-Fit Fittings and Connections for Under-Sink (RO) Filters

For reverse osmosis systems and under-sink filters, we have prepared a full arsenal of small components:
✔ Push-Fit Fittings (John Guest, DMFit): The industry gold standard. Push-Fit technology allows you to quickly and non-invasively connect 1/4" and 3/8" tubing without tools, Teflon tape, or hemp.
✔ Angle Shut-off Valves: Special tees (e.g., 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" or 3/8") that screw in between the pipe in the wall and the tubing for your kitchen faucet. They allow you to elegantly and safely "steal" water for the filter, with the option to easily shut it off with a small valve.
✔ Brackets and Mounts: Sturdy shelves and mounting clips that will help you organize the cabinet under the sink.

Service Tools

We also remember about ongoing operation. In our offer, you will find wrenches for in-line filter housings (both standard 10" and large Big Blue systems), which allow you to easily unscrew the housing during cartridge replacement without damaging the thread.

Quality Components are a Guarantee of Safety

Remember that high-quality installation components are an investment in the safety of your property. A cracked, cheap hose or a leaky Chinese fitting can lead to a flooded kitchen or boiler room, resulting in enormous repair costs. By using certified components, you gain peace of mind. However, if you do not feel confident connecting the water treatment system yourself, you can always turn to us. Use the services of our experts and order professional installation in the: Service Services section.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, it is currently the safest standard for connecting small hoses (1/4" and 3/8") in the world, used for years in the catering industry and other industries. The connection is based on an internal sealing ring (O-ring) and metal teeth that secure the hose. For a tight seal, the hose must be cut evenly and perpendicularly (preferably with a special cutter) and pushed firmly into the connector until it stops.

  • This is a small (usually blue or red) horseshoe-shaped clip that slides under the quick-connect collar after inserting the tubing. It prevents accidental pressing of the collar and the tubing from slipping out (e.g., when moving the filter in a cabinet). We always recommend using them for 100% safety.

  • Before purchasing, check the thread size of the hose from your current kitchen faucet (connected to the valve in the wall). In Poland, the standard size is 3/8 inchor 1/2 inch. We offer connections with a tee, which perfectly fit into this installation, providing a side outlet (most often 1/4") for the filter hose.

  • A "rigid" installation (e.g., glued PVC pipes or welded PP) transmits all vibrations from the system to the softener head, which over time can cause cracks. Flexible hoses (with stainless steel braiding) not only absorb these stresses (so-called water hammer), but also allow the unit to be slightly moved in the boiler room, which is extremely helpful when refilling salt or cleaning.

  • Unfortunately, there is no single, universal key for all filter housings on the market. They differ in diameter and the number of "grooves". Before purchasing, check the diameter of your housing (e.g., 10-inch standard, 10-inch Big Blue, 20-inch Big Blue) and, if possible, the brand of the filter (e.g., Supreme, Klarwod, Aquafilter). If you have any doubts, send us a photo of your filter!
